Jatinangor, May 6, 2026 — The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Padjadjaran (Faperta Unpad) held the Graduation Ceremony for Wave III of the 2026/2027 Academic Year on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Grha Sanusi Hardjadinata, Dipati Ukur Campus, Bandung. The event was conducted in a solemn atmosphere and marked an important milestone for students who had completed their studies across various academic levels. Graduates participated in the ceremony wearing academic gowns and received honorary medals. The event was attended by families, lecturers, and members of the academic community as a form of appreciation for the graduates’ achievements.
This graduation ceremony serves as a starting point for graduates to enter the professional world or pursue higher levels of education. Faperta Unpad reaffirmed its commitment to producing graduates who are competent, ethical, and adaptable to change. The educational process is expected to equip graduates with both academic excellence and practical skills. Furthermore, graduates are expected to contribute to sustainable agricultural development at both national and global levels.
Based on academic records, the ceremony conferred degrees upon a total of 71 graduates from various educational programs. This number consisted of 5 graduates from the Applied Bachelor’s Program (D4), 49 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program (S1), 13 graduates from the Master’s Program (S2), and 4 graduates from the Doctoral Program (S3). This achievement reflects Faperta Unpad’s consistency in producing high-quality graduates. These graduates are equipped not only with strong academic competencies but also with innovation capacity and competitiveness.
During the ceremony, faculty leaders extended their congratulations and appreciation to all graduates. The Dean of Faperta Unpad, Dr. Ahmad Choibar Tridakusumah, emphasized that academic success is the beginning of a greater responsibility to society. He highlighted that the knowledge and experience gained during their studies should serve as a foundation for addressing challenges in the agricultural sector. He also encouraged graduates to become adaptive, innovative, and solution-oriented individuals. This graduation moment represents a gateway to a new journey filled with opportunities and challenges.
Faperta Unpad also recognized outstanding graduates from each academic level. At the Applied Bachelor’s level (D4), the award was presented to Nakumi Laila Syajida from the Agrotechnopreneur Study Program. At the Bachelor’s level (S1), the awards were given to Rival from the Agrotechnology Study Program and Marco Dignity from the Agribusiness Study Program. At the Master’s level (S2), awards were presented to Raden Alya Rifani (Agronomy), Fadlan Atalla (Soil Science), and Neng Elmi Salehah (Agricultural Economics). At the Doctoral level (S3), the awards were received by Nicky Oktav Fauziah and Neneng Sri Widayani from the Agricultural Science Program.
The implementation of this graduation ceremony also aligns with Faperta Unpad’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the quality of higher education. Additionally, it supports SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by strengthening human resource capacity in the agricultural sector. Equipped with knowledge and competencies, graduates are expected to become agents of change. They are expected to contribute meaningfully to sustainable and globally competitive agricultural development.
