Jatinangor, 23 November 2025 – Sebanyak delapan mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran telah berhasil mengikuti Kinouchi Farm Summer Internship Program yang berlangsung pada 25 Juli hingga 20 Agustus 2025. Program ini merupakan hasil kerja sama antara Kinouchi Farm dan Fakultas Pertanian Unpad sebagai upaya memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa mengenai budidaya komoditas unggulan pertanian Jepang.
Kinouchi Farm, yang berlokasi di Tateno Minamiaso Village, Aso-gun, Kumamoto, Japan, dikenal sebagai salah satu penghasil stroberi berkualitas dengan standar budidaya modern. Melalui program ini, para peserta mendapatkan kesempatan selama satu bulan untuk mempelajari teknik budidaya stroberi Jepang secara langsung, mulai dari perawatan tanaman, pengelolaan rumah kaca, hingga standar kualitas panen. Selain pembelajaran teknis, mahasiswa juga merasakan langsung budaya kerja Jepang dan kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat lokal, termasuk tinggal bersama host family yang memberikan pengalaman budaya serta pendampingan selama program berlangsung.

Program magang di Kinouchi Farm menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk belajar langsung dari praktik pertanian Jepang, sekaligus memperluas wawasan budaya dan membangun koneksi internasional. Fakultas Pertanian Unpad berharap kolaborasi ini terus berlangsung dan semakin banyak mahasiswa yang dapat merasakan pengalaman serupa.
