The Vice Rector II of Unpad emphasized that the development of breadfruit is expected to be sustainable and integrated with environmental conservation efforts. He also highlighted its potential as a medium for learning, research, and field practice for the academic community. In line with this, the Dean of Faperta Unpad stated that students will be encouraged to be directly involved in the management of breadfruit cultivation. Such involvement is considered essential in supporting land revitalization and addressing climate change challenges. Beyond its ecological benefits, such as improving water absorption, breadfruit also holds strong economic potential as a future food commodity.

The event concluded with a symbolic tree planting ceremony by the attending officials, followed by an interactive discussion and an exhibition of breadfruit-based products. The showcased innovations demonstrated that breadfruit holds not only ecological value but also significant economic potential. Through this initiative, the breadfruit-based land revitalization movement is expected to grow sustainably over time. This effort aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land), emphasizing sustainable food systems and responsible environmental management.
