Faperta Unpad Alumni Become Mastermen at Bisi Internasional Thanks to Solid Collaboration

The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Padjadjaran (Faperta Unpad) has once again strengthened its role as a bridge between academia and industry by successfully holding a campus hiring and scholarship program evaluation. Collaborating with PT. Bisi Internasional, the event took place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the Faperta Unpad SPD Meeting Room.

The event was met with great enthusiasm by approximately 25 students who already had their graduation certificates and were ready to work. The series of tests began with a written exam followed by interviews, all completed in a One Day Service  The presence of Bisi Internasional representatives, including Mr. Rifki from the HC (Human Capital) Division, as well as Mr. Ardhi, the West Java Area Manager, and Mr. Amran, the Regional Head West 3, demonstrated the company's commitment to finding the best talent from Faperta Unpad. Several candidates who passed the interview stage will fill strategic positions in marketing and biotechnology. This was the second campus hiring event; the first was attended by 50 students. Based on discussions, a third event will be held in November 2025.

"We held it in one day to simplify the process and save time, making it easier for participants to follow the test series and ensuring the transparency of the campus hiring held at Faperta Unpad," said the Regional Head West 3, who is also a Faperta Unpad alumnus.

This was the second time Bisi Internasional has held a campus hiring at Faperta Unpad. The previous collaboration resulted in the recruitment of six Faperta alumni who are now important parts of the company. Bisi Internasional hopes that this cooperation will continue, as the company has been greatly assisted in finding quality manpower to fill vacant management positions.

In addition to campus hiring, the meeting was also used to evaluate the ongoing scholarship program. According to Mr. Amranwho is also a Faperta Unpad alumnus, the scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to 20 Faperta students each semester, will continue to be evaluated.

"The faculty and company will continue to evaluate scholarship recipients. There will be students removed from the list because they are about to graduate, so we will look for the next candidates to receive the scholarship who meet the qualifications," said Vira, the Faculty's Academic and Student Affairs Manager. The collaboration between Faperta Unpad and PT. Bisi Internasional directly contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The campus hiring and direct employment of graduates directly support Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals and serve as a tangible example of how strategic partnerships between educational institutions and the private sector can create a broader positive impact. By working together, both parties combine their resources, expertise, and networks to achieve a common goal: improving human resource quality, creating jobs, and ensuring sustainable education. This partnership shows that strong and lasting collaboration is key to overcoming global challenges and achieving development targets.
