8 student from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran, participated in the Kinouchi Farm Internship Winter Batch 2026, which took place from January 10 to February 10, 2026. The internship was conducted at Kinouchi Farm in Minami Aso, Kumamoto, as well as at Hana no Umi in Sanyoonoda, Yamaguchi, Japan.

Through this program, Kelana Muhammad Bahy, Khansa Alya Zharfanisa, Maghfiratunnisaa Radhwatullah, Dinda Kurnia Dewi Suherman, Dede Nurhidayah, Naufal Nugraha, Ananda Winda Yulianti, and Agnes Olivia, have the opportunity to learn firsthand about agricultural practices in Japan, ranging from crop cultivation activities and land management to understanding the agricultural production systems implemented in the country. By being directly involved in various activities in the farming fields, the interns are able to observe and learn how efficiency, precision, and discipline play an essential role in Japan’s agricultural system.

During the program, participants engage in various hands-on activities at the farm, allowing them to understand the work culture, discipline, and precision that characterize agricultural operations in Japan. This experience not only enhances students’ practical agricultural skills, but also broadens their global perspective on agricultural development and farm management.

The Kinouchi Farm Internship reflects the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Padjadjaran’s commitment to strengthening international exposure and experiential learning opportunities for its students. By participating in overseas internship programs, students are expected to develop a deeper understanding of global agricultural systems and bring back valuable knowledge that can contribute to the advancement of the agricultural sector in Indonesia.
