Outstanding Student Corner!

The Cuan Lovers United team, consisting of 2 Agribusiness students (Jenni and Nayla) and an Electrical Engineering student (Wafda), successfully became a top 5 finalist in the NBPC 2025 (National Business Plan Competition) organized by HIMAPSTIKA X HIMADIKMA FMIPA UNESA (State University of Surabaya) on October 3, 2025.

Jatinangor – One of the student teams from Universitas Padjadjaran managed to become one of the winners in the national business plan competition held by HIMAPSTIKA and HIMADIKMA from Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) on October 3, 2025, which was registered by 100 teams from universities across Indonesia! Their success in reaching the Top 5 was accompanied by other student teams from Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Indonesia, and Universitas Palangkaraya.

This competition began on July 28, 2025, consisting of three stages: Business Model Canvas (BMC), business proposal, and pitch deck presentation. The Unpad team, consisting of Nayla, Wafda, and Jenni, presented an innovative business idea under the sub-theme of edutech & microlearning with a digital punching bag product based on a PMK (Mass and Strength Measuring) tool. This product was developed to address the problem of conventional punching bags, which are relatively expensive and make it difficult to accurately measure an athlete's punching strength. With this innovation, the team hopes to provide a more affordable and high-tech training tool for athletes and coaches.

Having refined and tested the product for over 10 months allowed the team to present their prototype directly during the presentation, earning them extra points from the judges. The collaboration between agribusiness students and electrical engineering students proves that if there is a clear target and strong capabilities, there will always be opportunities for anyone to become a winner. “We hope this business idea can become a real product that benefits society. Moreover, we also hope it can bring pride to Unpad at both national and international levels,” said Jenni.

In addition to being a competition, participating in this contest also provides a valuable learning experience for students. “For fellow students, do not hesitate to join competitions that can represent Unpad. This is a golden opportunity to learn, sharpen your mental and soft skills, and recognize your potential,” she added. Through high spirit and dedication, this team not only brings honor to Unpad at the national level but also demonstrates that student innovation can become a real solution for the world of sports and technology education in Indonesia.
