This milestone event brought together 10 graduate students from Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) and one bachelor student, Renata Lukina, from the University of Tsukuba, marking a significant step in CAB-Tech\u2019s mission to advance breeding research with cutting-edge precision technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over three intensive days, participants received practical training in DNA extraction and mutation detection using CAB-Tech\u2019s state-of-the-art digital PCR (dPCR) facilities.The sessions were led by Bayu Pradana Nur Rahmat, a graduate student from the University of Tsukuba, under the supervision of Kang Seung-Won. This initiative represents CAB-Tech\u2019s first stride as a study center dedicated to equipping students with advanced laboratory skills and fostering innovation in plant breeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the highlights of the program was a mini-seminar, where students from both universities exchanged insights into their ongoing research projects. From UNPAD\u2019s Agronomy Department, Fitriansyah Putra, Amanda Alya Sofryan, and Dilla Wahyuni presented their current graduate research progress. From University of Tsukuba, W.P. Pamoda Madhushani Wijesinghe from Agro-Bioresources Science and Technology program&nbsp; and Bayu Pradana Nur Rahmat from Agricultural Science Doctoral program shared their pioneering work on development of artificial pollination systems and the effects of auxin signaling in shaping heat tolerance of tomato plant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mini-seminar was also attended by seven other University of Tsukuba students, which are Renata Lukina, Reo Saito, Chiang Cheng En, Rio Oide, Sou Yakuwa, Zhang Weiyi, and Wang Yuxuan. From UNPAD\u2019s side, the graduate students whose attended this research exchange seminar are Mega Komala, Alifa Ghaida Zahra, Rumaisha Salma Tsabitah, Zulfa Afifah, Putri Fajar Chaerul Ramdhani, Athaya Jamila, and Dang Aditya. This event not only enriched participants\u2019 scientific perspectives but also strengthened academic ties between the two institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop underscored CAB-Tech\u2019s commitment to nurturing global connections and advancing research excellence.
