It supports SDG 14: Life Below Water by promoting a blue economy approach, which emphasizes the sustainable use of marine resources and coastal areas. This study contributes to more resilient and equitable local economies.
The authors successfully demonstrated that community-led initiatives are key to building resilient rural tourism that benefits both people and the environment. This research provides a valuable framework for other regions to develop sustainable tourism models.
